I mean, I’ve eaten worse, but the grass made me really sick.

Would you ever court an inanimate object?

If you were to get married to a fish, what would the wedding look like?

Message from the artist, Bexxy:

My mom is a children’s book author, and it has always been her dream to get this one book out into the world.
The thing is, she has never had the means of doing it. She recently found out about the Canadian version of Kickstarter, and frantically put her book onto the website. She has worked at the General Motor’s factory in Whitby for 20 years of her life, and have support myself and my brother since we were born. She has wanted out for as long as I can remember, and I know that this book will take her where she wants to be. She has never asked for anything in return, except for me to illustrate her book, and for me now to try to help her get support for it. The book is called “Charles the Cat” and you have more than likely seen the illustrations I’ve done for it. It took me about a year to establish the style, and complete the book. It was way more stress than I thought something could be. I can promise you it is a super adorable book, though. It’s sort of Tim Burton meets Dr.Seuss… She is DEFINITELY not strong in persuasive writing. I had begged her to wait for me so we could write up something more moving, and more informative- but she just wanted it up. She has been waiting for years to get her book out there. She wouldn’t wait another day for me. Which is fine, but it upsets me because she will lose a lot of contributors due to the description (or lack thereof) of the project. She’s proved me wrong for $105.00 of the project, though! Now, I’m not posting this to plea for donations- I’m just posting this to get out it there… like she has asked me to. However, any donations help- even $1. She saw she had been donated to (by strangers!) and even I was excited for her! She has never been so happy. Here is the link, http://www.indiegogo.com/charlesthecatThank you, guys.

Even if you don’t donate, please reblog. The artist who illustrated this book has also done work for a number of popular sites, and I can assure you that the quality of this book is worth your donation. If you’d like to see more of her art, her DeviantART account is zombie.deviantart.com.
